He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Kok and Barbara Kok (Thueringer); and his siblings, John Kok, Albert Kok, Dorothy Senner, Rita Hagen, Genevieve Davison, Raymond Kok and Margaret Keith.
He is survived by: his brother Ray; his wife Nita Kok of Plaza; his children, Steven Kok of Fargo and Amy Gray (Tim) of Plaza; his grandchildren, Kalea and Kaleb Gray; and his brother-in-law John Jorde (Sally) of Minneapolis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
