He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rev. T. P. and Aziel Nordmark; his wife Marcia Arness; his daughters, Janet Altman (Jim) and Debra (Phil); his grandchildren, Kari Miller (Ronnie) of Des Moines, IA, Ryan Shane of Vancouver, WA, Nick Erickson of Minneapolis, MN and Becca Erickson of Fargo, ND; his siblings, Torberg Nordmark (Debbie) of Phoenix, AZ, Vernon Nordmark (Josette), Hannah Ofsthun of Minneapolis, MN, Charlotte Sween and Ellen Bratholt (Kermit); and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Nordmark of Dallas, OR and Mary Nordmark of Detroit Lakes, MN. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Rev. Hans Nordmark, and Adolph "Bud" Nordmark; sister, Mary Garbe and brothers-in-law, Clarence Ofsthun, Erv Garbe and Duane Sween. **In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to University Lutheran Church.
