She was predeceased by: her parents, Hjalmer Johnson and Clara Johnson (Mickelson); her daughter Tammy Pinnow; her siblings, Roger Johnson, Kathi Hovde and David Johnson; her brothers-in-law, Don Baum and Harold Tuttle; and her parents-in-law, Clifford and Millie Ringoen (Skogstad).
She is survived by: her son Steve; her husband Leo; her children, Todd Ringoen (Stacey) of Rural Plaza, Teresa Carpenter (Dicky) of Fairplay, CO and Tonya Brey (Stacy) of Minot; her grandchildren, Brandon Pinnow (DeAnna) of Kentucky, Jonathon Pinnow (Stephanie) of Wisconsin, Amy Shelton (Brian) of Texas, Rylie Ringoen, Payton Ringoen of Arizona, Trever Ringoen of Minot, Conner Ringoen of Rural Plaza, Christopher Carpenter, Caroline Carpenter of Colorado, Ashley Brey of Wisconsin, Sydnee Brey of Oregon, Casey Brey, Trystan Brey and Caden Brey of Minot; her great grandchildren, Harper Pinnow (KY), Hayley, Duke Pinnow (WI), Millie and Emma Shelton (TX); and her siblings, Ruby Naslund (Randy) of Fargo, Bruce Johnson (Betty) of Minot, Eloise Baum of Wisconsin and Mavis Tuttle of Washington.
Karen had courageously struggled with Parkinson's Disease for 20+ years and because of that had resided with Leo at the Wellington Assisted Living Facility since November of 2019.
