It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ellwein of Pick City, North Dakota, born in Hazen, North Dakota, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Ellwein and Irma Ellwein (Grosz); his brother Nester Ellwein (LaVain); and his nephew Terry Ellwein. He is survived by: his wife Linda Simenson of Pick City; his children, Bob Ellwein of Beulah and Theresa Brorby (Ron) of Grand Forks; his grandson Tom Miller of Colorado; his brother Donald Ellwein (Joyce) of Washburn; and his mother-in-law Dorothy Simenson of Zap. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
