He was predeceased by: his father Roland "Red" Rohlfs; his wife Joann Rohlfs (Lambert); his sister LaVonne Smith; and his brother-in-law James Lambert. He is survived by: his mother Blanche Rohlfs; his children, Tom Rohlfs (Kelly) and Jodi Herslip (Zach); his grandchildren, Brody Rohlfs (Cloey), Kade Rohlfs, Savanna Herslip (Riley) and Kaj Herslip; and his brother Larry Rohlfs.
