He was predeceased by: his father Fred. He is survived by: his wife Verla Ziesch; his children, James, Delan Schmidt (Kathyryn) and Sheryl Cochran (Bruce); his brother Harry of Steele, N. D.; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Ziesch (Delores) of Pettibone, N. D., Delton Ziesch of Des Moines, IA and Karen Ziesch of Pettibone, N. D. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
