She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kovarik and Josephine Kovarik (Shereck); her husband Freddie Berdal; and her siblings, Alice, Bessie, Sylvia and Charley.
She is survived by: her children, Lucille, John Berdal (Carolyn) of Petersburg, ND, Lucy Pierson (Todd) of Leeds, ND and Wayne Berdal (Kathy) of Petersburg, ND; her grandchildren, Deanne Nelson (Steve) of Rugby, Danielle Pierson of Grand Forks, Angela Rassier (Damien) of Grand Forks, Nathan Berdal (Mallory) of Grand Forks, Dayna Bartlette (John) of Linton, Bryce Berdal (Mara) of Niagara, Nicole Brower (Jon) of Fargo and Austin Berdal (Cassie) of Fargo; her great grandchildren, Bailey, Taylor, Reed, Quinn, Axl Nelson, Halle, Blair, Tate Berdal, Chay and Avery Rassier; and her siblings-in-law, Leonard Berdal and Valborg Berdal. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
