He was predeceased by: his son Greg; his wife Yvonne Stavig; his parents, Oscar Magnus and Katherine Magnus; his brother Neil Magnus; and his brother-in-law Allan Young.
He is survived by: his children, Loren Magnus (Julie) of Niagara, ND, Jeanine Brown (Russ) of Colgate, ND and Douglas Magnus (Julie) of Billings, MT.; his grandchildren, Kyle Magnus (Jamie), Danica, Hannah of Niagara, ND, Cassie Gestson (Garriet), Kenzie, Khloe of Petersburg, ND, Craig Magnus (Taylor), Isla, Elise of Albany, MN and Chelsea Brown of Fargo, ND; his great grandchildren, Caitlin Killoran (Justin), BriElle, Emercyn, Ava, Spencer of Buffalo, ND, Christine Hemmah (Andrew), Leif, Elsie, Holt of Colgate, ND, Austin Brown, Micayla Brown of Fargo, ND, Kacie Gesellchen and Abigayle Magnus of Billings, MT.; his sister Shirley Ann Young of Leeds, ND; and his sister-in-law Mavis Magnus of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
He volunteered his voice and personality to auction at many charity events.
