He is survived by: his wife Joan Sigurdson of Petersburg; his sister Bonnie Schultz of Fargo, ND; his children, Dan, Lori Whalen (John) of Windsor, CO and Tracey Aafedt of Pauls Valley, OK; and his grandchildren, Beth Chacon (Jermaine Callaway), Cori Aafedt and Cody Whalen.
