He is survived by: his children, Steven Karas of Wolfforth, TX and Elizabeth Karas of Pembina, ND; his sisters, Christina Stone of Boise, ID and Viola Jepson of Abilene, TX; and his sister-in-law Bertha Karas of Camarillo, CA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
