Fran Graalum Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fran Graalum of Pembina, North Dakota, who passed away on April 9, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. George Waldren and Mildred Waldren. She is survived by: her husband Wally Graalum; her son Charles; her brother Charles Waldren; her great grandchildren, Aubrey Larson and Kensington Graalum; her children, Deborah Martin (Scott), Richard Graalum (Terryl) and Jim Graalum (Julie); and her great grandchildren, Tyler Martin (Sarah), Annie Hertz (Troy), Heather Ostheimer (Kailun), Kelly Perlich (Josh), Kyle Graalum (Tiffany), Kristopher Graalum (Christina), Kayla Graalum (Cody Wald), Michael Graalum, Stephen Graalum, Justine Bullinger (Zach), Kaden, Ellis, Jada Martin, Madison Larson, Rachel Hertz, Isaac, Zoe, Ian Ostheimer, Anika, Jacob, Jackson Perlich, Briggs, Lennon Graalum, Hayden and Halle Graalum. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boulger Funeral Home (123 10th St S, Fargo, ND 58103). A prayer will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Nativity Catholic Church (1825 11th St S, Fargo, ND 58103).

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Fargo Memorial Honor Guard, Hospice of the Red River Valley, or a charity of your choice.
