He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cleem and Tillie Cleem (Dykhuis); and his brother Glenn Cleem. He is survived by: his wife Marcy McDermott; his children, Tammy Cleem of Grand Forks, ND, Breanna Cleem of Pembina, ND, Veronica "Roni" Cleem of Pembina, ND, Jerry Cleem of Pembina, ND and Garrett Cleem of Pembina, ND; his grandchildren, Megan and Justin Chute; and his siblings, Loretta Rose (Ernie), Gloria Harter, Iver Cleem (Cathy), Marvin Cleem (Mary) and Verna Lofberg (Lorne).
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Upper Valley ARC (ARC Angel Project) or the Special Olympics.
