He was predeceased by: his mother Annie Lockwood (Hunts Along); his former wife June; his siblings, Wilford Jr., Vernon, Melvin, Roderick and Sarah Dye; his parents-in-law, Mary Jo Packineau and James G. Plenty Chief Sr.; and his sister-in-law Leann Plenty Chief.
He is survived by: his wife Claire; his children, Westly Bald Eagle, Frank, Youlanda Lockwood, Angelica and Ashley; and his sisters, Rena Dragswolf, Jane Lockwood and Charlene Lockwood. He is also survived by Many nephews, nieces, grandchildren, blood relatives, friends, the out-laws, the in-laws.
A wake was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Red Bear Northeast Segment Community Center (3 Paint Loop S, Parshall, ND 58770). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at the Snow Bird Chapel Cemetery.
