She was predeceased by: her parents, Engelbert Levin and Marie Levin (Simonson); her husband Mike Nissen; her children, Michael Nissen and Jodi Rodgers; her great great grandchild Leiani Kori Ann Garcia; and her siblings, Alden, Raymond, Jim, Gladys, Lillian and Margret.

She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Nissen of Parshall, Jan Hauge (Keith) of Rapid City, SD, Jill Spitzer (Cam) of Bartlesville, OK, Jackie Moran (Bob) of Parshall and Jon Nissen of Minot; and her grandchildren, Heather, Chad, Rob, Michelle, Amy, Amanda, Holly, Cheyenne, Jade, Allison, Misty, Londell, John, Shari, Marshall and Forrest. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
