She was predeceased by: her parent Burr Sr.; her husband Leroy Whitelightning; her daughter Kelly Jo Whitelightning; and her siblings, Delmar Howling Wolf, Silas Howling Wolf and LaVonne Bruce.

She is survived by: her brother Waldron; her son Delmer; her niece Deanne Azure; her grandchildren, Kelly Ann, Meriah, Sierra, Draven and Delmer Jr.; her great grandchild Silas LaRocque; and her sister Darlene Perkins.
