It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley E Carlson of Park River, North Dakota, who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Moe and Selma Moe (Hogfoss); her husband Reuben Carlson; and her children, Rebecca and Douglas.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Carlson (Sherry) of Pisek, ND, Elaine Dahl (Brad) of Park River, ND, Mark Carlson of Lankin, ND and Mitch Carlson (Paulette) of Lamoure, ND; her daughter-in-law Susan Carlson of Grafton, ND; her grandchildren, Kim Rost (Ryan Johnston), Danny Carlson (Lindsey Smith), Amie Vasichek (Jim), Josh Dahl (Susan), Jason Dahl, Jevin Dahl (Tara), Tanner Carlson and Courtney Steinolfson (Dillion); her great grandchildren, Bevan (Zachary Adams), Chloe, Aidan Rost, Hunter, Amaryllis, Raelynn Carlson, Lauren, James, Claire Vasichek, Samuel, Siena, Hendrix, Lydia Dahl, Lilie, Evan, Axton Dahl and Hayes Steinolfson; her sister Judy Johnson of Winter Haven, FL; and her sister-in-law Judy Bondy of Fargo, ND.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM. A prayer was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home - Park River (103 Summit Ave S, Park River, ND 58270). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church (129 Harris Ave S, Park River, ND 58270).
