It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyla C. Nelson (Park River, North Dakota), who passed away on December 29, 2018, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Millard; her parents, Annie and Amund; her sisters, Ardiss, Mercedes and Neota; and her daughter-in-law Mavis.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Nelson of Fargo and Roger Nelson of Edmore; her granddaughter Melaine Korynta (Lyle) of Glyndon, MN; her great grandchildren, Amanda Korynta (Cody Asperheim) of Fargo, Katlin Timme (Brady) of Panama City, FL and Lauren Korynta (Michael Enfield) of Fargo; and her nieces and nephews, Cindy Phillipe of Warroad, MN, Sandra Finn, Leatrice Simmons, David (Irene), Levang of Edmore, Stuart Nelson (Dawn Beardemphl) of Adams, Kenneth Nelson (Deb) of Dickinson and Warren Nelson of Fairdale Memorials. She is also survived by her granddaughter, great grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.
