She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Melgaard and Amy Melgaard (Kringstad); her spouse Gilman Clemens; her sister Betty Ann; and her granddaughter-in-law Danielle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jana Fjeld of Park River, ND and Julie Johnston (Harold) of Grand Forks, ND; her grandsons, Ryan, Rory Fjeld (Leigh), Adam (Nikki), Aaron (Jordana) and Alex Hagen; and her great grandchildren, Damon Fjeld, Crease and Sullivan Hagen.
