He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Kemp and Myrtle Kemp (Smillie); and his brothers, Douglas and Paul. He is survived by: his wife Judy of Park River, ND; his children, John (Jeanine) of Burlington, IA, Scott (Doreen) of Ft. Collins, CO and Debbie Midgarden (Scott); his grandchildren, Joy Kemp of Burlington, IA, Jeremy Kemp (Emily) of Burlington, IA, Annika Snyder (Chris) and Karah Midgarden of Denver, CO; his siblings, Gayle Geiger (Don) of Bonita Springs, FL and Jeff Kemp (JoEllen) of El Paso, TX; and his aunt Carol Sparrow of Mayville, ND. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
