We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2021, at the age of 95, Alfred G. Hanson of Park River, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hanson and Aurora Hanson (Olgeirson); his wife Hope Irene Byron (Indridason); his son Jon "Mayo" Byron; his grandchildren, Jolene Goodro, John Robert Strand and Lara Le Strand; and his brother Percy.
He is survived by: his children, Candice Strand (Bob) of Hazen, ND, Pandora Hemsher of Rapid City, SD, Nadine Carr (Dale) of Wheatland, WY, Tyrone Byron of Mountain, ND, Dwight Byron (Elaine) of Park River, ND and Fred Byron (Juanita) of Anchorage, AK. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; and 8 great, great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Vikur Lutheran Church or Mountain Cemetery.
