It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard James Thum (Page, North Dakota), who passed away on September 1, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Thum and Emma Thum (Krack); his siblings, Vera DeSha, Alice Rausch, Barbara Johnson and Henry "Hank"; his nephews, Keith DeSha and Wayne Johnson; and his brother-in-law DuWayne "Bee" Johnson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Buddy, Alfred "Bud" Thum of Valley City and Violet Thum of Fargo; and his nieces and nephews, LeRoy Johnson, Amy Bergen, Allen Rausch, Anna Marie Stenson, Andrew Rausch, Myra Wilder, Michael DeSha, Joel DeSha and Kevin DeSha.
