He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Harchenko and Helen Harchenko (Pruttis); his wife Agnes Anderson; his daughter Gwen Egly; and his parents-in-law, Thelma Zielsdorf and Charles Ziesldorf.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marsha Harber (Rip) of Bozeman, Laree Bumgarner (Leslie Cameron) of Wahpeton and Myra Kosse (Kevin) of Bismarck; his son-in-law Edwin "Sonny" Egly of Belfield; his brother-in-law James Zielsdorf (Ruth Ann) of Beach; and his siblings, Toni Hippe (Don) of Austin, Texas and Joseph Harchenko (Lida). He is also survived by his ten grandchildren; his nine great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
