It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose (Sutherland) L. Gibbs of Oakes, North Dakota, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Sam Henry Gibbs; her stepfather Ernest Abernathy; her mother Alice Gibbs-Abernathy; her brothers, Tommy, Linwood and Shelton; her children, Lory Lee, Alice, Paul, Jr. and Scott William; her grandchildren, Michael, Gavin and Danielle; her great grandchildren, Brayden, Nolan, Brennan and Abigael; her nephews, Doug and Tommy, Jr.; and her niece Melba.
She contracted the Covid virus.
