She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Carlson and Thelma Carlson of Pollock; her husband Gordon Atkinson; her brother Robert; and her half-sister Phyllis Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Atkinson (Roberta) of Cape Coral, Fla., Lynn Murphy (Mark) of Aberdeen, S. D. and Lori Kunrath (Tim) of Oakes, N. D.; her grandchildren, Corey Atkinson (Jennifer) of Sioux Falls, S. D., Jordan Murphy (Stephanie) of West Fargo, N. D., Matthew Kunrath of Oakes, N. D., Jennifer Porisch (Kyle) of Huron, S. D., Amy Joy (Josh) of West Fargo, N. D., JoAan Fuhrer (Jason) of Fruit Heights, Lisa Fuccello (Jason) of Sioux Falls, S. D. and Michelle Schroeder (Jarret) of Oakes, N. D.; and her sisters-in-law, Margie Atkinson of Richfield and Jean Atkinson of Rockford, Minn.. She is also survived by 13 great grandsons and six great granddaughters.
