It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret DuRand of Oakes, North Dakota, born in Steele, North Dakota, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Henninger and Rike Henninger (Michaelsen); her husband Robert DuRand; her brothers, Ervin, Harold and Louie Henninger; and her great grandchild Mia Mae.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald DuRand of Fargo, ND, Donna DuRand Ellig (Nicholas) of Moorhead, MN and Carole DuRand (Randall) of Alexandria, MN; her grandson Brady DuRand Bjornson (Katie) of Denver, CO; and her sister Addie Ilene Frauenberg (Babe).
