With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Ptacek of Oakes, North Dakota, who passed away on August 2, 2023 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chuck Ptacek and Shirley Ptacek; his brother Bill; and his father-in-law Kenny Ehrlin. He is survived by: his girlfriend Cindy Ehrlin; his children, Cassie (Greg Johnson), Joel and Sadie; his siblings, Doug (Lorraine) and Nancy (Curt Janneck); his mother-in-law Maxine Ehrlin; and his brothers-in-law, Bruce (Lori), John (Connie) and Dave Ehrlin (Deb). He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
