He was predeceased by: his parents, George Allen Forward, Sr. and Kathryn Forward (Schmit); his son Brian; his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Forward.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Knipple; and his children, Pat Moore (Mary), Mary (Newt) of Raismes, Tim Forward (Karen), Jeff Forward (Roberta), Cheri Pearson (Randy), Dennis Forward (Shelly) and Jane Andersen (Larry). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
