Avelon Ulmer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avelon Ulmer of Oakes, North Dakota, who passed away on December 5, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Borgen and Gertie Borgen (Bjorgan); her brothers, Jarvis and Merle; and her husband Milton.
She is survived by: her children, Kathie Hay of Oakes, ND, John Ulmer (Candace) of Sioux Falls, SD and Daniel Ulmer (Diane) of Prior Lake, MN; her grandchildren, Kris Rauh, Travis Ketterling, Evan Ketterling (Julie), Drew Ulmer (Lisa), Sarah Ulmer and Mandy Ulmer; her great grandchildren, Taylor Rauh, Estella Henderson, Sybil Ulmer, Kenlee Ketterling and Joseph Ketterling; and her parents-in-law, Monica Hallerud, Gertrude and Edward Anderson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Avelon's Christian faith was the foundation in her life and she instilled those values in her entire family.
