He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Widmer and Christine Widmer (Kempel); and his son Jay. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Sorenson of Kathryn, ND; his daughters, Nancy Larson (Randy) of Herman, MN and Myrna Tonsfeldt (Darrin) of West Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Chris Larson (Becky), Colby Larson, Cassie Pierce (Tonsfeldt) and Dylan Tonsfeldt; and his great grandchild Jayce Larson.
