She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Tolstad and Minnie Tolstad (Sletta); her brother Sherman Tolstad; and her niece Jenna Tolstad. She is survived by: her husband Allen; her children, ZoeAnn Winkler (Gary), Jill Nickoloff (Scott) and Joshua Gotvaslee (Amy); her grandchildren, Walter W., Aurie W., Maddex N., Zaida N., Benjamin G. and Madelyn G.; and her siblings, Cordell Tolstad (Sue), Dwight Tolstad (Robin), Sheila Grosgebauer (Everett), Barbara Opdahl (Carrol) and Laurie Tolstad. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be given in Olivia's memory to the Camp Metigoshe - Metigoshe Ministries, Norwich Lutheran Church, or Norwich Lutheran Cemetery.
