Eldon Pinke Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eldon Pinke of Northwood, North Dakota, born in Lamoure, North Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Eldon left this world on October 30, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Pinke and Leona Pinke (Loebs) of Marion; his brother Delmar; his brother-in-law Darwin Strobel; and his parents-in-law, Bertha Strobel Banek, Fred Strobel and Walt Banek.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Strobel; his children, Dr. Lori Pinke (Donald Harris) of St. Cloud and Nathan (Kathryn) of Northwood; his grandchildren, Hunter, Elizabeth and Anika; his sister Ardella Rau (Bruce); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Pinke, Carol Strobel, Dale and Pam Strobel. He is also survived by three nieces, six nephews, much-loved extended family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer Free Lutheran Church (220 N Doheny St, Northwood, ND 58267). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Silent Hill.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to Northwood Deaconess Health Center Foundation, Ebenezer Free Lutheran Church youth group or UNDalumni.org/PINKE for the Hunter J. Pinke Leadership Endowment.
