He was predeceased by: his father Henry Verlinde; his sister Kim Jacobson; his stepfather Robert Lagein; and his daughter Jennifer Verlinde. He is survived by: his mother Donna Verlinde (Wissbrod); his former wife Michelle Lamontagne; his wife Karen James; his stepsons, Michael, Matthew and Mitchell James; his son Taylor Verlinde (Alexis); his granddaughter Freya Willard; his brother-in-law Bruce Jacobson; and his nephews, Cory (Bonnie) and Gavin Jacobson.
