He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Bertsch and Verna Bertsch (Kaeding); his brother Kenneth; and his nephews, Richard and Craig Bertsch.
He is survived by: his brother Donovan Bertsch (Sheila) of Bottineau; his nieces, Erica Wiisanen of Chattanooga, TN, Megan Mitzel (Anthony) of Plymouth, MN and Brenna Orstad (Carl) of Plymouth, MN; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Maya, Anya, Kai Wiisanen, Maren and Keaton Mitzel; and his sister-in-law Lynda Bertsch of Orange, CA..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Kramer or St. Andrew's Hospital Foundation in Bottineau.
