With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marty Good Bear (New Town, North Dakota), born in Stanley, North Dakota, who passed away on May 2, 2020 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Edith and Lawrence K. Good Bear; his siblings, Malcolm Wolf, Arlo Good Bear, George Good Bear, Alvina Wolf, Debbie Good Bear Monteau and Baby Lisa Good Bear; and his grandparents, Oscar Burr, Dora Smith, George Good Bear and Lucy Bearstail Good Bear.
He is survived by: his siblings, Harley Good Bear of Orville, WA, Darwin Good Bear (Janet) of Wolf Point, MT, Deanna Parisian (Robert) of Shakopee, MN and Carol Good Bear of Bismarck, ND. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In consideration of North Dakota and Mandan Hidatsa Arikara Nation COVID-19 guidelines, the procession to the Shell Creek Congregational Cemetery in New Town will leave the funeral home at 10:00 a. m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2020.
