He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Berg and Alpha Berg (Ellefson); and his uncle Morris. He is survived by: his cousin Harlen; his wife Sherill Lee Garness; his daughters, Teresa Kiichler (Trent), Lisa Rafferty (Shawn) and Becky Bertsch; his grandchildren, David Ripley, Ryann Rafferty (Josh Bossie), Alexa Fiskum (Matt), Karsen Rafferty (Taylor), Kade Gilstad, Erin Rafferty (Ted Larson), Colvyn Gilstad (Carolyn Tinkham), Brynley Bertsch and Skylar Ough (Marcus); his great grandchildren, Ava Fiskum and Tatum Ough; and his brothers, Douglas Berg (Karen) and Rob Berg (Debbie). He is also survived by Several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and multiple cousins.
