It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harris Berg of New Town, North Dakota, who passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Berg and Alpha Berg (Ellefson); and his uncle Morris. He is survived by: his cousin Harlen; his wife Sherill Lee Garness; his daughters, Teresa Kiichler (Trent), Lisa Rafferty (Shawn) and Becky Bertsch; his grandchildren, David Ripley, Ryann Rafferty (Josh Bossie), Alexa Fiskum (Matt), Karsen Rafferty (Taylor), Kade Gilstad, Erin Rafferty (Ted Larson), Colvyn Gilstad (Carolyn Tinkham), Brynley Bertsch and Skylar Ough (Marcus); his great grandchildren, Ava Fiskum and Tatum Ough; and his brothers, Douglas Berg (Karen) and Rob Berg (Debbie). He is also survived by Several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and multiple cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Thompson - Larson Funeral Home (21 3rd Ave SW, Minot, ND 58701). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
