She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Smith (Packineau) and Jefferson Smith Sr.; her former husband Rodney Howling Wolf; her children, William Krueger and Melanie Krueger; her grandchildren, Ashley White and Shelton Price; and her siblings, Lee Smith, Frances Boyd, Rachel Bell, Almeda Baker, Iris Smith, Miriam Wilkinson, Jefferson Smith II and Shirley White.

She is survived by: her husband Helmuth "Puddin" Krueger Jr.; her friend Witnesses; her children, David Krueger (Cherryl) of Fort Scott, KS, Shelley Krueger of New Town, ND, Terri Metz (Steven) of Bismarck, ND and Leslie White (Robert) of New Town, ND; and her grandchildren, Jessica Johnson, Stefanie Foxx, Melissa Yellowbird, Jeremy Grinnell, Justin Grinnell, Trevor Metz, Covey Price, Kaitlyn Mossett, Robert White Jr., Phoenix White and James White. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
