He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hoesel and Helen Hoesel (Kunz) of Judson; his wife Alice; his siblings, Ervin, Harold, Milton and LaVerne; his son-in-law Jay Voigt; and his granddaughter-in-law Jennifer Hoesel.
He is survived by: his children, Weldon Hoesel (Ronda) of Lidgerwood, ND, Colleen Klusmann (Randy), Kulm, Bryan Hoesel (Vicki), Kevin Hoesel (Penny), Hannover Voigt, Lynette Voigt and Bismarck; his grandchildren, Juli Mauch (Craig), Jeret Hoesel (Stephanie), Jason Klusmann (Calli), Todd Klusmann (Cayla), Nathan Klusmann (Brandy), Sara Spickler (Justin), Darren Hoesel, Russ Hoesel, Jeremy Hoesel (Nicole), Shelby Finch (Chad) and Abby Voigt; his siblings, Wilbert Hoesel (MaryAnn) of Mandan and Irene VanderVorst of Mandan; and his sister-in-law Ann Hoesel.
