She was predeceased by: her parents, Gottlieb Nicklaus and Mathilda Nicklaus (Schultz); her former spouse Helmuth O. Hermann; her husband Arthur H. Eggers; her daughter Sally Hulm; and her siblings, Ann Maul, Louise Sackman, Marlene Frovarp, Ervin, Albert, Nicky, Willie and Raymond Nicklaus.

She is survived by: her children, Hal Hermann of Asheville, NC, Cindy Ternes (Farley), Cheryl Braun (Gary) and Wes Eggers; her grandchildren, Joan Stoeckle (Adam), Nick Hermann, Lisa Aldrich (John), Rocky Hulm (Cindee), Kyle Ternes (Becky), Karmen Steffan (Brad), Jesse Braun (April), Kristin Leingang (Mark), Tanner Eggers (Ericka) and Tracen Eggers (Skiela); and her sisters, Arlene Arndt of Bismarck, ND, Violet Monson (Neal) of Fargo, ND. and Delores Schneider (Leo) of Fargo, ND.. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
