Catherine Kunz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Kunz of New Salem, North Dakota, who passed away on September 14, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sebastian Freidt and Rose Freidt (Berger) of Judson, ND.; her husband Kenny Kunz; her son Dean; her great grandchildren, Elijah Slappy and Alexis Griffin; and her siblings, Nick, Jack, Stanley, Clemie Kokkeler, Monica Price, Maggie Markle and Eva Eckroth.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry (Darlyn) of Bismarck, Russell (Susie) of Bismarck, Dennis Kunz (Vicki) of Bismarck, Carol Bauer (Dennis) of Lame Deer, MT, Carleen Cosner (Danny) of Buffalo, WY, Kelvin Kunz (Sandy), Dixie Sorge (Doug) of Billings, MT and Ron Kunz (Margo); and her siblings, Mary Hoffman, Margie Hoff, Sebastian Freidt (Judy) and Johnny Freidt (Ardie). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the New Salem Community Foundation, St. Pius V Catholic Church, or place of your choice in Katie's name.
