He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. LaFountaine and Philomene LaFountaine (Short); his wives, Elaine Trottier and Judy Anderson (Crumley); his stepson Ray Trottier; and his close friend Vivian.
He is survived by: his children, Alan LaFountaine (Terry) and Colinda Gannon (James); and his stepchildren, Brad Trottier (Sheryl) of Madison Lake, MN, Ken Trottier (Bonnie) of Apple Valley, MN, Kim and Carleena Sparkman of Columbia, TN. He is also survived by four stepchildren.
