With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willys E. Rogelstad of New Rockford, North Dakota, who passed away on October 11, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Affeldt and Alice Affeldt (Tangen); her stepfather Tom Purcell (Harlan); her sister Sharon Hinman; and her son-in-law Michael Durick.
She is survived by: her husband Harlan J. Rogelstad; her daughters, Vicki Durick of Fessenden, ND, Leatrice Truedson (Merrill) of Harvey, ND and Christi Kanwischer (Allen) of Wheatland, WY; her grandchildren, Casey, Carissa, Joshua and Alyson; her stepgrandchildren, Jeromy and Jamie; her sisters, Irene Coles (Jim) of Phoenix, OR and Norma Monahan of Ann Arbor, MI; and her stepbrothers, Tom Purcell of Billings, MT and Joe Purcell of Oceanside, NY.. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, one step-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial preferred to the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd, American Cancer Society, or donor's choice.
