With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce A. Schmidtgal of New Rockford, North Dakota, born in Harvey, North Dakota, who passed away on June 20, 2023 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Schmidtgal and Josephine Schmidtgal (Cogil); her siblings, Jack and Dorothy; and her brother-in-law James Isaak.

She is survived by: her sisters, Judith Ramey (Franklin James) and Jayne Isaak of Harvey, ND. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

The family prefers memorials to The 4th Corporation, 120 11th Street North, New Rockford, North Dakota 58356.
