He was predeceased by: his wife Janice; his father William McKay; his brother Virgil McKay Sr; his nephew Virgil McKay Jr; and his granddaughter Dancia Dawn Jackson.
He is survived by: his mother Hermenia; his children, Frank Jason Greene, Carl Jr, Ann McKay, Lori McKay, Marnie Lawrence (Joseph), Jennifer Black (Wayne) and Dixie Omen (Mitch); his siblings, Ila McKay and Merle McKay; and also, Gandi Shaw and Marshall Pete Longie Sr. He is also survived by 33 Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren.
