She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Stern and Louisa Stern (Kranich); her daughter Jean; her husband Emil; her son-in-law Edmund Gruebele; and her great grandchild Kirsten Knaus.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Greubele of New Leipzig, ND; her son-in-law John Jacobsen; her grandchildren, Karen, Lynda of Bismarck, ND and Brian (Tracy); her great grandchildren, Brandon Lee, Jordan Lee (Alexis), Brittany Briese (Evan), Arin Schatz (Maddy) and Jackie Giobres (Nick); her great great grandchildren, Tytus Lee, Posey Lee, Kailee, Aiden, Sophee, Blaise Briese, Aloy, Emmett Schatz, George, Alex, Sophia Giobres and Haley Knaus; and her siblings, Dan, Fred, Ted, Arthur, Emma Strohchein, Martha Stern and Hilda McMorran.
Due to the pandemic, visitors were few.
