He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Mueller and Marie Mueller (Buchwitz); his former wives, Anne and Norma; his siblings, Otto, Reinhold, Arthur, Robert, Hilda Haase, Emma Weiss and Ida Fuchs; and his stepsons, Blair and Mark Bauer.
He is survived by: his children, Donald (Marjorie), Rodney (Susan) and Jeanette Hertz (Keith); his sister Ann Hoesel of Worland, WY; his grandchildren, Tammy McQuarters (Eddie) of Dallas, TX, Todd Mueller (Shonna), Shawn Mueller (Tammy), Cody Hertz (Laura) and Brandon Hertz (Laura); his stepson Lane Bauer (Julie) of Las Cruces, NM; his stepdaughters-in-law, Jan Bauer of Richmond, MN and Roxanne Bauer; and also, Tammy McQuarters, Todd Mueller, Shawn Mueller, Robbie Hertz, Cody Hertz and Brandon Hertz. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
