He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Stagl and Elizabeth Stagl (Jung); his sister Laura Grundhauser; his grandson Tyson Treto; his great grandchild Gabriel Pearce; his parents-in-law, Joe, Ida Binstock and Tillie Binstock; his son-in-law Dave Wanner; his brothers-in-law, Casper, Raymond Binstock, Melvin Meyer and Fritz Twardowski; and his nephews, Ken and Kyle Binstock.
He is survived by: his wife Martina Binstock; his children, Kathy, Allan Stagl (Renelda) of Sidney, MT, Stremick, Dion Stagl (Diane) and Shelly Jund (John); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Binstock, Eleanor Twardowski, Joan Berger (Joe), Millie Bender (Clarence), Diane Leininger (Terry), Jeanie Obritsch (Ken), Karen Kadrmas (Roque), J. P. Grundhauser, Victor Binstock (Dianne) and Ervin Binstock (Diane). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
