He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Winkler and Marlene Winkler (Renaud); his wife Anna Sloan; and his brother Darwin Winkler. He is survived by: his children, Misty Carriere of Neche, ND, Douglas Winkler (Jennifer) of Neche, ND and Tiffany Nord (Matthew) of Neche, ND; his grandchildren, Brianna Carriere, Jayme Beltran, Diesel, Dominic Winkler, Christian and Brooklynn Nord; and his siblings, Darnell Winkler (Mary), DaVonne Sloan (Jamie), Duane Winkler and DesaRae Zaharia (Tom). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
