We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2025, at the age of 85, Floyd Frieze of Mott, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Frieze and Elizabeth Frieze; and his siblings, George, Mike Jr., Marvin Frieze, Lorraine Schweiger, Lena and Eva Frieze.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Ann Welsch of Mott, ND; his children, Lyle Frieze of Mott, ND, Sherry Kelsch (Ty) of Bismarck, ND, Mark Frieze (Melanie) of Dickinson, ND, Susanne Zittleman (Richard) of Mandan, ND, Marcy Mack (Kory) of Lakeside, NE, Loren Frieze (Cameo) of Mott, ND, April Eide (Scott) of Bismarck, ND and Holly Ottmar (Jeremy) of Mott, ND.; his grandchildren, Kayla Dockter (Troy), Malinda Mack, Teeney Frieze, Kamela Timm (Dylan), Brady Zittleman (Sydney Keller), Derrick Frieze (Madison), Jarad Zittleman (Julianna), Zachary Frieze, Ashley Glatt (David), Jackson Zittleman (Sharlee), Aris Eide (Ellie Jahner), Jordan Ottmar (Sydnee), Mathew Eide (Summer Sturm), Katherine Eide, Jazlyn Ottmar, Pierson Frieze, Jada Ottmar, Jayce Ottmar, Aiden Frieze and Jaylee Ottmar; his great grandchildren, Dax Dockter, Ellalynn, Samuel, Kylar Mack, June, Caiden Timm, Vivienne Floyd Glatt, Andrew Zittleman and Kennedy Frieze; his granddaughters, Samantha Moe and Makenzie Charvat; his brothers, Leonard and Melvin Frieze; his sisters-in-law, Joanne Fix and Kathy Laub; and his friend Kenny Messer. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Vincent's Catholic Church (408 Iowa Ave, Mott, ND 58646). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Vincent Catholic Church (408 Iowa Ave, Mott, ND 58646). A Mass was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent's Catholic Church (408 Iowa Ave, Mott, ND 58646).
