He was predeceased by: his parents, Engvald Helgeson and Anna Helgeson (Johnson); and his siblings, Sylvia Enget, Marvin Helgeson and Gaylord Helgeson.
He is survived by: his brother S. S. Lindenwald; his wife Helen Helgeson; his children, Janice Johnson (Wayne) of Sherwood and Randy Helgeson (Lynette) of Hot Springs, SD; his siblings, Marlan Helgeson (Beverly) of Grand Forks and Mary Lou Bertsch of Minot; and his brother-in-law Michael Williams of Paintsville, KY. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
