She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Sommers and Alvina Sommers (Shong); her grandparents, Henry and Valena Shong; her sister Judy Hamel (Larry); her niece Nicky Pollary; and her granddaughter Mariya Bernhardt.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Hendershot; her children, Brenda Bernhardt (Tony), Vicky Bowers (Loren) and Steve Hendershot; her grandchildren, Laci Parker (Cain), Lexi Steeves (Brock), Tanner Bernhardt, Logan Bowers (Kaisa), Linsy Bowers and Levi Hendershot; and her great grandchildren, Brysen Hastings, Cain Liam Parker, Eli Bowers, Laini Parker, Blaze Steeves and Emmett Bowers.
